The Ferries are Booked!

I spent a good part of today on my computer and on the phone arranging for our ferry trips.
Here's what we've got booked:
July 29 - Haines to Juneau (2 hrs by high speed catamaran)
August 2-3 - Juneau to Wrangell (6 hrs)
August 5 - Wrangell to Ketchikan (6 hrs)
August 9 - Ketchikan to Prince Rupert, B.C. (7.5 hrs)
August 11 - Prince Rupert to Port Hardy (on Vancouver Island) (15 hrs)
All the sailing are daytime except for Juneau to Wrangell which is overnight (we've booked a cabin).
So EXCITING!!!

Just Setting Up This New Blog

I think it will work best to use a 'Blog' to share our adventures in Alaska with family and friends. This way I can post pictures and comments in 'diary' style; like I did when we full-time RV'd.

We are planning to hit the road in early June and spend about two months touring the Yukon territory and Alaska. Then, we'll take the ferry (several ferries actually) down the inside passage and over to Vancouver Island for a visit with the kids/grandkids before making our way home to Saskatchewan in mid-September.

It will be a 'trip of a lifetime'!
